BB OmniCALL Line Card (4 Radial or 32 Remotes)

The OCLC is an expansion and line card specifically designed for the OmniCALL Master Control Panel. The OCLC line card is central to the flexibility of Baldwin Boxall’s OmniCALL EVC Systems, allowing system designers to combine both radial and loop-wired outstations within a single addressable system.

Within the OmniCALL platform, the OCLC functions as an expansion and interface card used to connect additional loops or radial circuits for emergency communication devices. The Master Control Panel includes one onboard line card and can be expanded with up to three additional OCLC cards.

What the OCLC card does
The OCLC card is used to:
• Connect refuge telephones and fire telephones
• Create loop or radial network topologies
• Support up to 32 outstations per loop
• Provide cable fault tolerance and system redundancy
• Expand the overall capacity of the OmniCALL system

Typical applications
OmniCALL systems with OCLC cards are commonly installed in:
• Shopping centres
• Hospitals
• Metro and railway stations
• Stadiums
• High-rise buildings
• Public buildings
